About
Formed in 1994, Women of Note currently has 28 members. We meet weekly during term time on a Tuesday evening in central Cambridge. We learn all our music by ear.
Perform
We perform regularly in concerts, community events and private celebrations, often to raise funds for local charities. We also participate in national events, including the Street Choir Festival and Sing for Water.

Lead
Our professional musical leader, Chloë Allison, leads us for
two terms a year. Chloë contributes her exceptional musical skills, humour and inspiration; she also held our choir together
online throughout Covid lockdowns. We are very pleased to have her leading us.

Our third term is led by in-house musical leaders – all
volunteers from the choir. Any WoN member who would like
to join the in-house leaders group is very welcome.
Celebrate
More than ‘just a choir’, we often find reasons to celebrate together and enjoy various optional activities that contribute to group cohesion.
